Darcy Winslow

Darcy Winslow has been a pioneer and active practitioner of sustainability frameworks and principles, exploring and experimenting with the application of these to all aspects of business. Darcy worked at Nike, Inc. for over 20 years and held several senior management positions within the business, including the creation of the Sustainable Business Strategies division in 1999 and as the Global General Manager for Nike’s Women’s Performance business.

Darcy is the founder of Designs for a Sustainable World Collective, LLC, a firm that focuses on the development of practical yet aggressive strategies for organizations to create and adopt more sustainable and ultimately regenerative business practices. As part of the Collective, Winslow also serves as a Senior Strategist with Brightworks, Inc.

Darcy is an Executive-in-Residence and Senior Lecturer at the MIT Sloan School of Management, Program Director for Willamette University’s Sustainable Enterprise Certification Program, and holds an Adjunct Faculty position with the Center for Creative Leadership. She participated in and served as the Sustainability Leader for the 2009 and 2010 Inspire Antarctic Expedition as part of Robert Swan’s 2041 Leadership On The Edge program.

Darcy currently serves on the Board of Advisors for NorthWest Earth Institute; and the Board of Directors for Portland Oregon Sustainability Institute, Greenopolis, The Cloud Institute for Sustainability Education, and the Council for Responsible Sport. She is a Technical Advisor for the Oregon Innovation Council, Inc., was named one of the inaugural Pivotal Leaders, and is an active member of the Society for Organizational Learning and Sustainability Consortium.

Darcy is a lifelong athlete and enjoys traveling the world.
